AWS (Amazon Web Services)

  1. Follow the AWS documentation to create a cluster. This includes:

    • Amazon EKS prerequisites.
    • Create your Amazon EKS Cluster.
    • Configure kubectl for Amazon EKS.
    • Launch and configure Amazon EKS worker nodes.
  2. Create a default storage class for your cluster.

  3. Set up your Amazon AWS account id and image repository name. Just replace 123412341234 here with your AWS account id:

     export ACCOUNT_ID="123412341234"
     export REPO_NAME="${ACCOUNT_ID}"

To find your account id in the AWS console, click on Support in the top right and select Support Center.

Note: AWS often displays your account id in the header, next to your IAM user name, in this form: 1234-1234-1234. Don't include the dashes.

  4. Create an ECR repository for each image type:

     for image in front-end application-server deeptest-worker keymaker; do aws ecr create-repository --repository-name ${image}; done
  5. Set up local authenticaton to ECR:

     $(aws ecr get-login --no-include-email --region us-east-1)

Now return to the main cloud deployment page and follow the instructions to deploy Diffblue Cover to the cluster.
