Configure Diffblue service ports

By default the Diffblue service is accessible on all interfaces of the server on TCP/443 - https://SERVERIP. You can configure the service to change all exposed and published ports by following these steps:

  1. Edit the diffblue service:

    sudo systemctl edit diffblue

    and add the relevant environment variable(s) for the port(s) that you want to change. This example shows how to change all exposed and published ports:

    [Service]
    Environment=DIFFBLUE_APPLICATION_SERVER_EXPOSE_PORT=8081
    Environment=DIFFBLUE_BROKER_EXPOSE_PORT=5670
    Environment=DIFFBLUE_FRONT_END_EXPOSE_PORT=8000
    Environment=DIFFBLUE_FRONT_END_PUBLISH_SECURE_PORT=5000
    Environment=DIFFBLUE_MONGO_EXPOSE_PORT=2700
    Environment=DIFFBLUE_STORAGE_EXPOSE_PORT=9001

  2. Reload systemd to apply your change in configuration:

    sudo systemctl daemon-reload

  3. Verify your settings:

    systemctl show --property=Environment diffblue

  4. Restart the diffblue service:

    sudo systemctl restart diffblue

If you have added DIFFBLUE_FRONT_END_PUBLISH_SECURE_PORT=5000 you should now be able to access the Diffblue service via the updated port. For example - https://SERVERIP:5000
