IntelliJ Plugin Community Edition licensing

Note: You must have an active internet connection for your free license to work. If you are experiencing difficulties, please check the output message in IntelliJ, and also refer to our troubleshooting page for guidance.

Community Edition

The Community Edition of our IntelliJ Plugin is available free of charge from our download page or the JetBrains marketplace. This will allow you to write tests for any Java class or method, with a limit of 100 tests per user per day, and also access support from our Community Forum. To use the Community Edition, click the “Use Community Edition” button on the home page, and the license details will be automatically entered. You can also use the menu options to activate the Community Edition license: Diffblue > Activate Licence > Use Community Edition.

Once you are using the plugin, you can view your remaining daily allowance of tests, and when your allowance renews, by selecting the Diffblue menu and then View License Information:
