License consumption limits for Community and Developer edition are based on the number of methods tested.

  • A method tested unit is consumed when you have asked Diffblue Cover to write tests for a method, and Diffblue Cover has returned at least one new or updated test.

  • You will only get charged (at maximum) one for each method tested, no matter how many tests were created. Note one write test operation can include multiple methods, e.g. when writing tests for an entire class.

  • You will not be charged when Diffblue Cover is unable to create a complete test, or the generated test matches existing Diffblue tests.

  • When using Test Review, tests provided - but not accepted - are still counted towards license consumptions.
